The typical rhythm is written into the case: boards stay in for local use, the case folds flat between shows, and the foam goes back in on arrival. The tubes carry the rolled version of the same material — banners, oversized prints, and graphics headed for installation or a show floor, tough enough to check through as luggage.

If the piece is mounted, foam-backed, painted, or layered — anything rolling would damage — it goes flat in the X-Port, and at this scale the case's details matter: the elevated dual handles keep a five-foot case off the ground as you walk, and clamshell mode means you load it lying open rather than feeding work down through the top. If the piece rolls safely — printed banners, posters, prints on flexible stock — choose tube length by the width of the finished roll: a 40"x60" piece rolled along its 60" edge makes a 40"-wide roll that fits the 45" tubes, while wider rolls take the 50". Diameter follows the roll: 6" for a piece or two, 8" for heavy stock or multiple sheets nested loosely.
