The art display rack and sleeve system consists of two components – racks and sleeves – available in multiple configurations and sizes to match different display volumes and print formats.

Display racks are available in five models: three single-tier floor-standing racks sized for different sleeve formats (accommodating prints from 16"×20" up to 40"×60"), a 2-level floor-standing rack that doubles display capacity in the same footprint, and a tabletop rack for counter or bench display. All floor-standing models are constructed from powder-coated steel and roll on four casters with two locking wheels. Each rack holds up to 50 sleeves, displaying up to 100 pieces front-and-back.

Print sleeves are available in nine sizes from 16"×20" to 40"×50", sold in 12-packs. Each sleeve is constructed from heavy-duty 8 mil clear flexible vinyl with reinforced double-stitched binding and a removable acid-free fluted polypropylene stiffener insert – the insert is two-sided, allowing artwork to be displayed on both the front and back of each sleeve.

How do I choose the right display rack and sleeves?

Choosing the right display rack and sleeves involves two decisions: sleeve size first, then rack size.

Always start with the sleeve – select the size that fits your largest standard print, then choose the rack specified for that sleeve size.

For the smallest prints (up to 18"×24") – the small floor-standing rack or tabletop rack is the appropriate choice.

For the most common fine art and photography print formats (20"×26" and 24"×36") – the mid-size floor-standing rack is the standard choice.

For large-format prints and oversized posters (30"×40" and up) – the large floor-standing rack accommodates sleeve sizes through 32"×42".

For maximum display density in the same footprint – the 2-level floor-standing rack holds two tiers of sleeves and doubles the capacity of a single-tier model without requiring additional floor space.

Do I need a rack, sleeves, or both?

Whether you need a rack, sleeves, or both depends on what you're setting up and what you already have.

If you are setting up a display from scratch – for a gallery, a retail space, a photography studio sales room, or an art fair booth – you need both. Racks and sleeves are sold separately in this collection, so purchase them together and match the sleeve size to the rack specification.

If you already have racks and need to replace worn sleeves, add capacity, or move to a different print size – purchase sleeves only. The nine sleeve sizes in this collection cover all standard print and poster formats.

If you already have sleeves and need a rack – choose the rack model that matches your existing sleeve dimensions. Sleeve size, not print size, determines which rack to buy.

If you are using sleeves independently of a rack – for flat storage in a flat file, for transport between studios, or for display leaning against a wall or shelf – sleeves work perfectly well without a rack and provide the same acid-free archival protection regardless of how they are stored.
